Hi, I’m Jill Ferraro

As founder of The Village, my mission is to cultivate a space for girls to come and train in an environment that helps them grow both on and off the field, regardless of their age or skill level.

Empowering, encouraging and Teaching girls to train mentaly and physically like elite athletes.

Growing up in Northern, Virginia, softball was my obsession. I spent my weekends on travel ball fields across the country, playing a sport with some of my best friends to this day. I was always eager to learn, grow and develop. It’s because of MY village, I was a three time high school All-American, National Catcher of the year at Bishop O’Connell High School (2013), and went on to play at UNC Chapel Hill (undergrad) and then become the first Captain in Duke Softball history (graduate school).

I would not have become a fraction of the player or person I am today without dozens of different influential figures throughout my years playing softball. My parents, my high school coach, my hitting coach, specialty skill coaches, and travel ball coaches all played pivotal roles in developing me as a player and person. This is why I am working to cultivate a space where girls can come to learn, improve and sharpen both their physical and mental skills. Softball teaches us so much more than what happens on the dirt and The Village’s mission is to provide those learning and growth opportunities to girls in the Central Texas area.
